Grounding isn't just about walking barefoot on the earth. You can also connect with the planet through simple activities like touching a tree or spending time gardening.
Touching trees: more than nature
When you hug or simply rest your hand on a tree trunk, you are making electrical contact with the Earth through the tree.
Trees are great natural conductors .
When you touch them, your body is balanced thanks to the flow of negative electrons from the earth to you.
In addition, there is a psychological effect: touching a tree transmits calm, security and a sense of connection.
Barefoot gardening: therapy for body and mind
Getting your hands in the soil, planting, watering, or tending a home garden is not only relaxing:
You activate grounding by having direct contact with the ground .
You promote the absorption of electrons that help reduce oxidative stress.
Studies show that working with plants reduces cortisol (the stress hormone).
And if you do it barefoot in the garden , you multiply the benefits.
In the city you can also
Even if you live in an urban apartment, you can practice grounding naturally:
Touching the trees in a park.
Visit urban gardens.
Walking barefoot on grass or dirt in urban green areas.
When this isn't possible, grounding accessories (mats, bands, sheets) are the perfect complement to maintain daily connection.
Each simple gesture is a real way to reconnect with the Earth and take care of your physical and emotional well-being .
